What is XII VIRTUE?

Created by Leon Hu, XII VIRTUE ("Twelfth Virtue") is a Seattle-based narrative art storybook being told through designer-quality fashion. 

Our name is inspired by Aristotle’s twelfth virtue of justice - the ability to judge right from wrong aka the most subjective, argument-inspiring topic in modern society. But arguments are not conversations, they don't break barriers and bring people together.

That’s what XII VIRTUE wants to do. We want to tell stories and connect worlds by driving conversations that build bridges for strangers to become peers...maybe even friends.

"XII VIRTUE is a culmination of everything that has ever inspired me to become more open-minded - to broaden my perspective and be okay with the fact that I still have a lot to learn. What I've come to realize is that there are so many different perspectives out there that we could never relate to, but at the same time the context behind those perspectives carry a lot of relatable emotions. The pandemic was a crazy time, we saw blatant examples of how divided our world is but we also saw a collective longing for improvement. A shared emotion, interest, or experience goes a long way towards breaking down long-standing barriers and building upon those in widely interpretable, contemporary stories is the goal of XII VIRTUE.
